Meet The Designer

In an effort to reincarnate the mulberry tree by their home, brothers Babken and David Khachatryan from Gyumri, Armenia merged craftsmanship and philanthropy forming TWINZ Eyewear. The luxury wooden eyewear brand is cleverly named to symbolize the conjoined frames that keep each other supported. Similarly the brand does its part in supporting the environment through its own initiative, planting a tree for each pair of glasses sold. After 3 years of perfecting their products to launch in 2014, this eco-friendly brand has risen to become a staple in Armenian fashion with sunglasses, eyewear and a growing accessories collection.

These hypo-allergenic, ultra lightweight sunglasses are individually designed by David, and are crafted from eight layers of exotic wood, two layers of carbon fiber for flexibility and durability and finished with natural eco-friendly oils and beeswax. Topped off with 100% UV protected Carl Zeiss frames with 3 protective layers against scratches, sunlight and – blinks!

The collection spans men and women with classic frames like the unisex Woody to the edgy Trinity. Most recently, the brand launched their new innovation, Smart Vison, which includes Bluetooth technology for calls and music – but more importantly to equip with hearing aids to assist those in need live a fuller life. Artisan, luxe accessories with heart, is the best way to describe TWINZ Eyewear – aside from functional, unique, and simply chic!
