Vishapagorgs [Վիշապագորգ], dragon rugs, are one of the most unique and ancient rug arts dating as far back to the 13th century. Originating from Artsakh and Syunik, these rugs are decorated with various ornate designs and patterns that all have the dragon uniquely modeled within. The dragons are presented on the rugs as a duality of good and evil. Typically showcased on one side as protective and kind, while fighting one another on the other.
